Learning From My Wagering Failures

1st to explain why I write this article. I have been gambling on the net or at land-based casinos for many years. I have discovered, the fixation can grab a hold of you and you won’t even notice it until you are penniless. Especially if you’re on a winning streak. I’ve gone through many tens of thousands of dollars in only a tiny amount of time and to this day on occasion, I will go too far. It appears you’re just having fun until you start to track your losses and the guilt settles in, and then you keep telling yourself "I can win it back" repeatedly. It never works. Then you become sick in your belly and the more you attempt the quicker you lose.

When you see that you’re up, STAY on the UP! When you start to lose, don’t say to yourself, "well perhaps just one more" and again and again, believe me, this method RARELY ever works. Say you’re betting on slot games, have a bankroll set aside before beginning your play. Don’t go over that limit, no matter how appealing. If you actually succeed, put that in a separate canister. Don’t spend your wins no matter what. As soon as you have gone through your primary set limit, stop. Leave, regardless if it is on the internet or at a land based casino, do not stay around. Always remember, there is going to be a different day, a different time.

Keep in mind, gambling should be FUN not exhausting, nauseating work! If you aren’t having fun yourself, you do not belong there. If youcannot afford the cost, do not even start.
